On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:30 PM, during the Study Session the City Council will receive a project update from ARC Architects regarding the Downtown Parking Garage Feasibility & Design project.

This update focuses on Phase 1, which identifies viable sites for a new parking structure. The City’s goal is to provide a minimum of 200 additional parking stalls within approximately 1,000 feet of Front Street Park to support downtown accessibility.

Key Update Details:

  • Architectural Vision: The structure is intended to be consistent with Leavenworth’s iconic Old World Bavarian Alpine architectural theme.
  • Current Status: Jeff Wandasiewicz of ARC Architects will present progress on site selection and feasibility analysis.
  • Next Steps: Following the completion of Phase 1, the project is anticipated to move into Phase 2 (Design) via a future scope amendment.
