Recently Asked Questions

This year, opening day for the pool has been a bit of a ‘moving target’. Several factors led to July 7—including pool operations and functionality, health and safety requirements, staff availability and training, and the overall readiness of system components.

Design work for the projects began in November 2024. This year’s pool repair projects included, but were not limited to, resurfacing the pool building floor, addressing recurring coating failure in the zero-entry area, upgrading electrical components, and replacing the filtration system. Work that City staff could not complete in-house was put out to bid, and contractors were selected in February 2025. Despite the City’s effort to mitigate manufacturing delays by purchasing key equipment in January, supply chain issues impacted the timeline, with critical materials not arriving on site until mid-May. The filtration system project was not completed by the deadline. Completion of the work was ultimately resolved with the City bringing in additional contractor support to finish the outstanding work.

Parking Guidelines

This year the City will be issuing a Dash Pass to pool users which will be provided to:

  • Season Pass holders (valid only during pool hours, 3 hours maximum in lot)
  • Swim Lesson participants (valid only while attending weekday lessons during pool hours, 3 hours maximum in lot)
  • Pool Day-Use participants (valid only during pool hours, 3 hours maximum in lot)

Dash Passes are valid only for 3-hour (maximum) parking in Freund or Enchantments.

When legally parked, please visibly display your Dash Pass on your vehicle’s mirror or dashboard with the pass facing out so it is clearly visible to Parking Enforcement. The Dash Pass must be visible at all times.

If your Dash Pass is not visibly displayed and you receive a parking citation, you will need to file an appeal online at col.dev.3sherpas.com/how-do-i/pay-parking-infraction/. City Hall will no longer be handling parking citation appeals and/or disputes. There will be no courtesy dismissals.

Please remember to display your Dash Pass.

Freund Lot: Parking stalls on the outer rows only are for pool users with a Dash Pass. The middle rows are RESERVED for permit parking – there will be NO parking at any time; these stalls are not affiliated with pool use. These stalls are license plate enforced; if you park in a reserved permit stall, for any amount of time, you will get a parking citation. Parking is PROHIBITED on lawn or striped areas. Violators will be ticketed.

Enchantments Lot: Please pay attention to signed stalls as these are reserved for City and Library Staff and Library patrons during specific hours during the week. Parking is PROHIBITED on lawn or striped areas. Violators will be ticketed.
