Since 2023, the City of Leavenworth has proudly hosted quarterly Community Engagement Nights.

These events celebrate the spirit of community and offer residents and business owners alike the opportunity to connect, learn, and ultimately engage with City staff and agency partners.

These evenings bring together residents, business owners, City staff, and agency partners for meaningful conversations, helpful resources, and updates on local projects. Each event offers something new—whether it’s timely topics, upcoming initiatives, or engaging entertainment that reflects the diverse interests of our community. There is something for everyone.

We invite you to join us! Come and experience the sense of community and local partnerships that make Leavenworth such a special place to live and visit.

We look forward to welcoming you at the next Community Engagement Night—come be a part of what makes Leavenworth thrive.

Is your organization interested in participating at an upcoming community event?

Participation (having a booth or a table) is limited to non-profits, service organizations, government agencies and public entities that serve the residents of Leavenworth. The only exception being that private businesses directly partnered with the City on major projects are invited to be at City presentation tables/booths related to their project.

Organizations cannot accept or exchange money (no product sales or donation requests). This is designed intentionally as an informational & awareness, community connection event.

The list of City projects, topics, and presenters—along with the nonprofits, service organizations, government agencies, and public entities showcasing their work—will vary for each event. As each event approaches, the anticipated projects and participating organizations will be posted.

Similar to the projects and topics anticipated to be discussed, the presenters will also change. However, every Community Engagement Night will include knowledgeable City staff, consultants and/or local partners that you can engage with in-person.

Yes. The purpose of these community engagement nights is to actively engage with City staff and other agency representatives in-person. Our goal is to listen to your questions or concerns, learn about your priorities, and inform you about various ongoing or upcoming project/planning efforts.

Community engagement nights are a valuable opportunity for residents to participate in the development and well-being of their community. By attending these quarterly events residents can contribute valuable feedback, learn about upcoming projects, engage with City staff, and build stronger relationships with their neighbors.

Attendees should anticipate a very informal community gathering. Each topic/presenter will have an individual table open with an assigned representative available to answer any questions you might have. There will be food and light refreshments available. There’s even a designated space for the kiddos to play while you circulate the information tables. No preparation is needed but those interested in attending can review the list of topics above and are encouraged to bring their questions. Engagement night is the perfect opportunity to talk with knowledgeable individuals that can provide additional insight on current project and/or planning efforts.
