The City of Leavenworth is pleased to announce the official launch of the Employee Parking Program, a new permit program designed to provide affordable and convenient parking solutions for the local workforce that keeps our downtown core running.
Starting today, downtown employees can apply for a monthly parking permit at the discounted rate of $50 per month (a nearly 90% discount). This program is the result of months of collaborative planning and dedicated discussion by the City’s Parking Department, the Parking Advisory Committee, and City Councilmembers to address the unique needs of our downtown community.
Program Details & Eligibility
The permit offers 24/7 access to several designated city-owned pay lots on a first-come, first-served basis, including:
- Blewett Annex
- Dragontail
- Freund
- Glacier
- Horseshoe Lake
Please note: Permits are valid for all days and times; however, overnight parking is not permitted. Each permit is linked to one license plate and is non-transferable.
How to Apply:
To ensure the program remains manageable and effective for its initial launch, the City is issuing a total of 50 permits. Due to high demand, these will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who meet the eligibility requirements.
To secure your permit:
- Submit Your Documents: Applicants must provide proof of employment (paystub, letter from employer, or business license) and a valid vehicle registration matching the employee’s name.
- Verify & Set Up: Once your documentation is verified, you will receive an email link to set up your account and automatic monthly billing.
- Automatic Billing: A valid credit card must remain on file to maintain an active permit.
