This project entails completing shoreline restoration at the footing of the pedestrian bridge crossing to Blackbird Island. The existing bank on the island side of the bridge has been scoured by many years of river erosion and is at risk of compromising the integrity of the bridge’s pile cap. The goal is to restore the river bank to its historical state and provide natural protection from further erosion.
