Short-term Front Street Repairs are required due to multiple trip hazards and the general poor condition of the existing streetscape. Public Works is working to address these concerns, which will require a series of construction contracts over the summer to fix these issues.
The street work is planned to occur May 18-29 (M-F) from 7 am to 6 pm. This proposal includes:
- Replace concrete ‘dance floor’ in front of gazebo
- Crosswalk repair
- Seal Coat of Front Street
- Addressing several locations of ‘wavy’ bricks
- Sidewalk repairs
Remaining work includes repairing the irrigation system in the ‘bulb outs’ and landscape planting. This work as the scope is being refined.
