Amanda moved to Leavenworth in 2001 after graduating from Central Washington University to work for Douglas County as their Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst. She earned her certification as a GIS Professional (GISP) in 2007. She has a deep passion for volunteering and giving back to her profession and the community. She continues to volunteer with a number of local, state, and international GIS organizations in addition to serving on the city of Leavenworth’s Planning Commission.
